How: I’ve known of Peter and his yarn company Peace Fleece since I started spinning 22 years ago. We’ve crossed paths in the Maine fiber arts community and I’ve heard him speak a time or two. Not to mention watched a hand shearing demo. His work became instrumental to my work long before I realized it. A bit of a long story that is probably only interesting to me. I could talk all day about anything and anyone fiber related.
Why: I recommend this beautifully told story by Peter which is filled with the stories of his life where he brings such straight forward color, raw vulnerability, and endless strength as he shares his life in these pages.
