Le do thoil… pardon this chaos as I reconfigure my new layout. I wanted to give my site a fresh look that more reflects the life change I’ve made… moving my family from Maine, US to rural Galway, Ireland back in late August 2025.
For a number of years I operated my own independent online shop of handspun and Maine mill spun Maine yarns and other textile creations. As I’ve put that part of my life aside for now so I can focus on new endevours, I wanted to also give this site a fresh look. I’ve always had a fondess for this color combo of white and kelly green. It makes me smile whenever I see it, especially here in Ireland. After choosing this design and color combo I realized- OH! it’s because it reminds me of An Post- the postal system here in Ireland. The green post boxes here I especially have a special fondess for. Especially beacsue in the early days of my travels here in the late ’90’s, recieving post from Ireland was always a highlight.
